RBO Volunteers at Skyline 50k Endurance Run

On August 1, 2021, RBO had the great pleasure of volunteering at the Skyline 50k Endurance Run presented by our good friends at Scena Performance! A typical cool, breezy Bay Area morning made for perfect running conditions for over 300 trail blazers taking on the 21 or 50k of rough trails, steep uphills, and speedy downhills of Lake Chabot Regional Park.

RBO coaches, volunteers, and staff were stationed at Marciel Rd aid station, Bort Meadow aid station, the Finish line, and even swept for the 50k race! We had a blast cheering on these trail runners- even spotted a few RBO runners out there!! (see their shiny medals in the picture?)

We thank Scena Performance for their ongoing support of RBO and for organizing the Skyline/RBO Fundraising Challenge. Read more about the challenge here, where up to $500 of donations will be matched by Scena. Thank you Scena Performance! We can’t wait to help out again next year!
