The Pamakid Runners are a 501c3 non-profit committed to the Bay Area community and donate proceeds from the race to local charities each year. Since the event's inception in 1984, the Pamakid Runners have partnered with local non-profit organizations whose mission is to support healthy communities and families. In the last ten years alone, the Pamakids have donated over $1 million back into the Bay Area community.

Founded in 1992 by a small committee of Olympic Club members, OCF is a separate 501(c)3 public charity with a Gold Level rating from Guide Star. The Olympic Club Foundation supports and encourages participation of Bay Area youth in amateur athletics. Their mission is to financially support programs which share their belief that participation in organized athletics enriches young lives and develops future community leaders.

GU Energy labs believes that everyone should have access to physical movement, natural spaces, and wholesome nutrition. In addition to supporting RBO through the GU Gives program, GU Energy Labs provides RBO with healthy snacks and performance nutrition products to help our students train and compete in races.

Lake Merritt Joggers & Striders (LMJS) is a volunteer-based, nonprofit running club. They support their diverse running community through training, races, social engagement, and outreach. They foster camaraderie, collaboration and empowerment within the club and the community.

Mascot Sports is a leader in sports and experiential marketing igniting the rally for innovation through athletes, brands, and events. Mascot Sports generously provides RBO with discounted race entries so that our students and run mentors may participate in races for free. Mascot Sports also provides RBO with discounted half-marathon race entries for our Senior Scholarship Applicants.

Coastal Trail Runs has organized over 400 events during the past 15 years. They are known for their well-marked courses, accurately measured distances, immediate race results, quality shirt designs, and low-key, friendly atmosphere. The Miwok 100K was founded in 1996 by Kellie Sheehan. That first race, held on May 6, 1996, had 69 starters and 62 finishers. Tia Bodington took over as Race Director in 2004, growing the race from 236 starters/205 finishers to our permit limit of 500 entrants, and creating an increasingly sustainable and inclusive event.

ROLL Recovery generously provides RBO with high-quality stretching and recovery equipment to help our students train and compete in local races.

The Marin Mile is a unique community celebration that welcomes all levels and all ages from all around the Bay Area. The Marin Mile is for anyone, to jog, run, or race a mile with peers. Running for a Better Oakland is thrilled to announce that the Marin Mile is generously supporting our program by donating proceeds from this race!
