Practice #6

For our final practice of Fall 2023, we decided to take a field trip to Arrowhead Marsh in Martin Luther King Jr. Regional Shoreline to run alongside the pristine San Leandro Bay. It was a cold, wet morning and the shoreline was teeming with wildlife. Students and volunteers that ran the furthest distance were rewarded with an outdoor gallery of beautiful murals before turning back to the start line. Volunteers from Pamakid Runners joined us at practice to run with our students and community. This was a fantastic way to close out our training program before the Oakland Turkey Trot!
